Packers are in the process of carefully wrapping and storing a lifetime of treasures for the seller of this sweet house on School Street in the downtown area of San Carlos which will soon be for sale. Yesterday they discovered that one beautiful antique curio cabinet was locked and they had no way to retrieve and wrap the items inside. Did I panic? No, I knew just who to call.

Once again, Hagop Tatoian of Dependable Lock and Hardware in San Carlos California came through to make my job easier and provide great service for my clients. Within 20 minutes, Hagop was on site, removing the lock and fashioning a new skeleton key for us. The packers could continue their work, and the job remains on schedule.

Pet Friendly Peninsula Open Spaces

Along the spine of the Peninsula, between San Francisco to San Jose and beyond, we're blessed with abundant open space, one of the reasons for the high cost of housing in our area, and one of the many benefits of living here.

There are several close-in places that welcome dogs, so if you and your pet are in the need of exercise and fresh air, check out the Open Space Preserve web site to find areas that welcome your pet.

One of my favorite dog-friendly spots is Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve, located on Edmunds Drive just off Crestview and Edgewood Roads. It's easily accessed from Interstate 280 and the towns of San Carlos and Redwood City. Bring your water bottle, watch out for poison oak, and enjoy your exploration!
