Peninsula Living: San Mateo county Parks and Open Space Preserves

We pay a premium to live on the San Francisco Peninsula. Compared to many parts of the country our houses are older and smaller; lot sizes, too.

However, the benefits are many--good weather, vibrant communities, top-rated universities, world headquarters for numerous bsinesses and on it goes.

Our nearby Open Space preserves and parks are a huge bonus. These pictures were taken in a few of the San Mateo County parks and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District preserves, that are within a 10- to 45-minute drive from my downtown San Carlos office.

(Many thanks to Rainmaker Carra Riley for introducing me to the Slide program!)
