Do You Have A Dream List?

Goals can be very powerful tools to help us stay focused, and I have my written business goals. But I've discovered the importance of having a written Deam List as well. A dream isn't necessarily realistic or practical, but it expands our horizons and adds excitement to life! I always try to have 50 or more things on the list--from the simple to the sublime--and review it several times a year. It's amazing to see which dreams have been reached. For me, it has included:

  • run a knee-safe marathon and have fun doing it
  • take my granddaughter on a camping trip (that's tonight, actually!)
  • hike in the Swiss Alps
  • attend a multi-day yoga retreat

Some still on the list

  • Visit Macchu Pichu
  • Hike along the Via Alpina (can you tell I love to hike?)
  • Learn enough German to be conversant
  • Take piano lessons

How about you? What brings excitement to your life?

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!
