Follow-up: Newsletter or Postcards Best Way to Reach Seniors?

Three months ago I sent out my first monthly mail to a targeted mailing list of Senior homeowners in an area I work (San Mateo County, California.) Each month I sent out one postcard--no responses of any kind.

Last week I sent out the first newsletter to the same group--so far, I've heard from two recipients. One asked to be removed from future mailings (I've happily complied.) The other had further questions about some information I mentioned about possible property tax assistance for low-income Seniors -- good proof that newsletters get read, and I've now made a new contact.'

I'll let you know when I get my first listing!
