Here it is, Friday evening of another long but interesting week. While I get caught up on emails, making sure advertising is in order for my Sunday open house, and preparing to get a condo listing ready to go, Gene is in the kitchen, cooking one of his yummy dinners. How lucky am I?
This dinner featured red snapper topped with mango-cilantro salsa, fresh asparagus, sauteed crookneck squash, artisan French sourdough bread (a San Francisco specialty!) and served with a glass of chilled Chardonnay. While we have scores of fantastic restaurants in San Carlos and up and down the Peninsula, some nights it just feels right to stay home and dine -- if you have a chef in the family like Gene. Thanks Gene!!
