Living in San Francisco - A November Sunday - 11/13/11
Today the weather was gorgeous, my listings are all sold or pending so it was time to spend the day with my husband.

We took a fast-paced walk down Jackson Street in San Francisco, through Chinatown and the Financial District, about 1.8 miles to the Ferry Building. We enjoyed a 30-minute or so ferry ride to the town (and island) of Alameda, just off the Oakland shore, near Jack London Square. Once there, we walked around the former Naval Air Station, and toured the USS Hornet, the aircraft carrier which is now a museum. Amazing how large it is!
After a fast-paced walk to get a deli sandwich, we high tailed it back to the ferry dock (with 4 minutes to spare!)
Our return walk took us to see 6 open houses (what else does a Realtor® do on a Sunday off?) in the Russian Hill area of San Francisco. You can bet we climbed many hills and staircases, both inside and outside of homes.
All in all, a perfect day! We hiked around 10 miles, enjoyed new sights, yummy food, good time together, and I continued my education of the condo market (and one fantastic single-family home) in San Francisco.
Whether you live in San Francisco, San Mateo County or the Silicon Valley, why not spread your wings a bit and take in a new day's adventure?
