Leaving Davies Hall after a marvelous Beethoven and Sibelius symphony, we walked around the back of the Opera house (building on right) and enjoyed the gorgeous City Hall shining through a light fog! (Another little snapshot with my Blackberry)

Pretty - I lived in the Bay Area for a few years growing up - I lobed it so much! I always take pictures whenever I am out - thanks for sharing!
What is the big beacon light. I like the picture but the spot light is overwhelming.
Hi Lottie ~ Neat photo! And it sounds like a wonderful evening.
Liz
Hi Lottie. I miss it sooooo much!!! Sounds like a great concert too... please keep sending these photos, I'm your fan!
Hi Lottie, Glad to hear that you had a perfect evening. Love the magical, mystical picture in the fog.
Lottie - San Francisco is one of the country's gorgeous cities. . .I've been wanting to go there for the last few weeks, but as you may know the Bay Bridge has been having its issues. I don't want to add to their traffic woes during this time. Fascinating picture!
Hi Courtney--you live in an equally beautiful part of the country--I'm sure you have lots of great pics.
Tim, the bright lights are a row of street lamps--in reality they aren't overpowering, but I agree, in the photo they tend to be distracting--let's blame the fog!
Liz, I'm waiting for more of your great Boston and Cambridge shots. My daughter tells me it's pretty cold there now; have you turned on your heat yet?
Hi Edy and Sandy -- thanks for your kind words; glad you both enjoyed the picture. That entire evening was magical, starting with probably the best concert I've been to in years ('course, I'm a huge Beethoven fan), followed by a simple, healthy, tasty dinner, and then the walk back to our car took us to this scene.
Mryl, the bridge is fixed, so come on over! (Just beware of the "S" curve!) I've got some great tips for dining in the City if you'd like them; just say the word.
Very nice! I continue to be amazed at what a phone camera can do these days!
Debi
Hi Debi -- glad you enjoy the pic. I love having a "camera" with me always! Certainly not up to your standards, but lots of fun.
Great picture. I can't wait to get a new phone with a better camera.
It is fun to have a camera at the ready. Glad you enjoyed the pic.
Beethoven and Sibelius - - - very nice. The photo is a nice follow-up to what sounds like a great time!
It sure is nice to take a bit of time for R&R isn't it Steve? It was a great evening. Wishing you the same.
It was a great evening, Steve. Wishing you the same.
Lottie - That is a great picture! You're so lucky to live where you can enjoy all that San Francisco has to offer. It's one of my favorite cities...
Lottie, That is a beautiful picture.I have not yet used my blackberry to take pictures.
Hi Kate -- you'll have to come back to visit SF soon -- RainCamp is here next week, 12/2/09!
Gita, once you start taking pics with your Blackberry, you'll really have fun--it's so spontaneous.
Happy Thanksgiving to you both, and all our AR friends!
Lottie what a beautiful shot! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
This is magnificent, Lottie. Who needs a camera if you Blackberry can take that!
Glad you like the photo, Jane. I ALWAYS have my Blackberry with me, but still I don't get all the great shots I see.
Debra, glad you enjoyed the photo. The light fog swirling about just capped off a delightful evening.
