Peninsula Living: A visit to Pacific Grove

The mid-Peninsula location of San Carlos allows for easy day trips to some pretty marvelous spots.

Coastal Trail near Lovers' Point, Pacific Grove, CA

The towns of Monterey, Carmel and Pacific Grove, on the Monterey Peninsula are 3 places rich in history and world-class attractions. Here you'll find the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, the Carmel Mission and the iconic shops along Ocean Avenue.

One of my joys is the natural beauty of the Coastal Trail, shown above near Lovers' Point in Pacific Grove, heading toward Asilomar State Beach. What a joy to run (or stroll) here, listening to crashing waves, watching sea lions and occasionally a sea otter, hearing the cry of birds, smelling the salt air and feeling the cool wind in your face!

And if you'd rather spend more time than just one day, give Old St. Angela's Inn  a try -- it's our favorite overnight spot.

Pacific Grove B&B

When you're ready to call the San Francisco Peninsula your home, or leave here for new surroundings, give me a call and we'll get started to make it happen!

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

Hi Angelica - you live in a gorgeous area, one of our favorite get-aways. This time we attended the Chanticleer Christmas concert at the Carmel Mission, dined at our favorite place, Passion Fish, and then took at early morning run along the coast before a sumptuous breakfast at Old St. Angela's. We came home refreshed and peaceful. Pacific Grove worked it's magic once again. Merry Christmas to you.

It's a lovely spot, Jo, about 2-1/2 hrs. south of San Francisco. Come for a visit sometime!
