...Relax, and Have a Great Day!

Good Morning!
This is God.
I will be handling all your
problems today.
I will not need your help.
Relax, and have a great day.

Marin County hills, CA

I spotted these words a few years back on an artist's painting hanging in a little cafe in North Beach in San Francisco. They instantly made me relax, and I now have them posted in my office, as a reminder not to take on worries that aren't mine to resolve.

I hope you relax and enjoy your day, too.

But according to all the pundits out there Lottie Californians are Godless. Just kidding, I'm a former Californian myself.  Thanks for the post and best of luck to you.

Lottie I learned to not worry about something you can't control. The battle is not yours, the battle is the Lord. Thanks for this remainder Lottie. This will make a great re-blog. Enjoy your weekend.

I am familiar with the message and possibly saw it in the same North Beach restaurant many years ago when I lived in your area.  I just can't remember where I first read it.  Thanks for the reminder and for sharing!

Lottie,

That is a lot like Aloha Friday, except you have God covering your back.  I will remember that.

Hi Jerry -- Well, more often than not pundits are wrong--they just think they're clever! Wishing you a great day.

Debra, I'm glad you enjoyed the thought. It makes me relax just reading it.

Barbara, all you need do is print it out and hang it up!

Sue, I can be a great worrier.

Hi Lanre, isn't it silly to worry about things over which we have no control? I can do that, though, so like this little reminder.

Mary, I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for stopping by.

Michael, I think the North Beach cafe is called "Pat's Cafe," about 2 blocks north of Washington Square.

Steven, Aloha Friday is a great custom. I lived in Honolulu for a year in 1968, and remember how silly I felt the first day I went to work in a muumuu. Didn't take me long to come to love the custom.

Michael, go ahead and relax today; we have permission!
