Hi Esperanza - thanks for stopping by here. I just became aware of that, so reported it then deleted it. Spam is sure prevalent, isn't it? I've been getting it from my Craig's List postings, too.

I need to get out to our area and enjoy the freebie this weekend at our local park...

Dagny, it's a bit early in the evening for stars, but always a surprise--could be warm and sunny, or foggy and chilly, but always fun and crowded

Michael, lots of communities sponsor these types of concerts--what a great venue for some great local talent, and fun for all.

I'd go to hear The Refugees because I like Tom Petty. Although I'm not sure where San Carlos is located. LOL.

Hi Elizabeth -- well, if you know where San Francisco is, and if you know the way to San Jose -- you'll pass right through San Carlos -- we'll on the Peninsula, midway between the two. Come on down when you need some of our natural air conditioning!

Lottie, it is GREAT that your company is a sponsor.  Good for the community, good for the company. Enjoy!

Mary Kay, wouldn't you know I'll be on vacation the week our RE/MAX office is the sponsor. Bad timing!

Lottie: we have lots of free outdoor concerts here in Danville too. It's such a great way to get everybody out of the house and outdoors. What a great thing to blog about...you just gave me an idea ;-)

Cari, I think almost every community sponsors those now a days. Budget cuts have shortened our program this summer, but not eliminated it.

Lottie - you have to love summer and free - there are so many free or almost free things to do in the summer - concerts in the park are one of my favourites.
