Sunday Morning Thoughts

Sunday Morning Thoughts ----

Arun Mahajan scaling Starlite Peak

My friend, Arun Mahajan, kindly said I could share this fantastic picture of him climbing Starlite Peak in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It's now gracing the bulletin board over my desk and elicits random thoughts like:
  • Aim high
  • Baby steps
  • Keep you eye on the goal
  • Never stop trying
  • Fantastic people live here on the San Francisco Peninsula
  • and --- I used to hike with this guy!

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

Good morning Lottie. Sweet pic of your friend. I don't see any lines from above, is he climbing free of ropes?

Lottie, I agree with Sheila that is an amazing picture and an inspiring statement to go with it! I feel it is the determination that lets us reach our goals and this picture portrays that well!  Thanks for sharing it!  Berni Kerr

Sometimes there are a few bumps in the road traveled.  I always wanted to do this, noI am just to brittle!

Lottie - my immediate thought was "no life line or safety net here" which immediately brought to mind the necessity of having a safety net in our business. with out a life line or safety net many who enter real estate find they can not continue as they run out of funds.

Randy, that was my thought, too -- where are the ropes? He's a wise fellow, so I'm sure they are there when needed.

Barbara -- yep, 'stay on course' is another good caption for the pic.

William, I took a one-day rock climbing class a long time ago -- wanted to experience rapelling. It was great. I can understand the allure of the sport.

Hi Kathy -- knowing Arun, he has safety lines in place, to use when needed. We need them, too, in our business -- they allow us to aspire to great heights.

Lottie- beautiful photo and it is a good reminder to aim high and keep focused on where you're going.

Wow, Lottie, that's some rugged territory!

Lottie,

That's incredible.  I use to be more daring but never to this extreme and now heights really get to me!

Hi Maria -- it sure is rugged. Many of the Sierra Nevada peaks--those over 11,000 feet or so--are a jumble of rocks. This one is super amazing, though.

DeeDee, I''d LOVE to do something like that, but I now I never will. That's why I can say it, right??
