The tomatoes are luscious! I was recently in Woodside and cleaned out my friends garden of tomatoes and were they ever good.

Deborah, how's your garden? I seem to remember you planting lots of great things. Enjoy your harvest

Michele, farmers' markets are great additions to our towns and cities. Do you ever notice how many people are smiling as they stroll around and shop? Enjoy yours, and thanks for stopping by.

Chris, that was some basket -- if you had knocked on my door I would have happily shared! We stiill have a few apple-pears left, and radishes.

Trey, I keep hearing about your drought. Luckily for us our heavy winter snowpack in the Sierras has kept us well supplied this year with water. But, it's only a matter of time when we'll be back to water rationing. Sorry the drought has curtailed your gardening; I remember seeing pics of some of your bounty in other years.

Oh Lottie, that first photo of all those gorgeous tomatoes. I'd be the happiest man on earth!

Hi John -- a good farmers' market is beautiful to behold. Do you ever take in the one at Ft. Mason?
