Rebates sounds like a great idea to help offset the costs. Hopefully costs will come down, like electronics do over

Kudos to the City of San Carlos for offering such an opportunity to its' residents, Lottie.  Educational opportunities for saving money is so very timely ... let alone the opportunities to live more "green"!  Great article and info ...  hope it's well-attended!

Hi Cara - well, I'm not holding my breath hoping utility costs will come down, but if we use less, we'll pay less--plus perhaps not run dry! So important with water, too.

Hello Gene - more and more people in our area are interested in energy saving ideas, and rebates can be the carrot that makes us jump. The green movement is definitely catching on, and a good idea.
