Forget Your Worrying Today

Forget Your Worries Today!

calm waters

"Good Morning! This is God. I will be handling all your problems today. I will not need your help. Relax, and have a great day."

When I saw these words a handful of years ago at a small cafe in North Beach in San Francisco, they made me smile, and still do. I have them printed out and posted above my desk. Hope they bring a smile to your faces, too.

If I was sitting on the lake next to that boat that would be easy. Great pic. Good job

Lottie,

Thanks for the post and the reminder. It's always good to keep things in perspective and realize that we are not the one driving the bus!

Hi Lottie,

I love the photo; just imagining sitting there on the dock would make you forget your troubles. I try to relax and enjoy life as since we are not in charge of our destiny. But I do believe we must try to make good choices. Thanks for sharing.

Lottie, Every time I get worried about things, I discover that it was a waste of energy.  I am convinced that God handles my schedule, my money, my health, my relationships, and especially my salvation.  :)

Kristin - there's something about water -- or mountains -- that helps put worrying in perspective. Have a great day!

Judi, worrying about things we have no control over is a huge waste of energy -- but hard to control. Sometimes we just need to be given permission not to worry!

Lottie, It does bring a smile to my face.  A great reminder of The Power so much greater than anything we could possibly think of or manage.  It is only our egos that cause us to falsely believe "we" are the ones doing and creating.  God has a sense of humor ... that's why we have egos!

Lottie, I think I'll have to put that above my desk too. When I read it I felt a sigh of relief! Every morning I get an email from 'The Universe'. Sort of feels the same way. You can check it out here

LOVE IT! It's an absolutely beautiful picture and an absolutely beautiful reminder of where we can go for peace.

Hi Kathleen - love being given permission to relax and not worry. When I get stressed out--and who doesn't in this business, that makes me smile and lightens me up--a bit!
