Lottie, What a great idea, and I have SUGGESTED this post.  I've never heard of WalkScore, but will definitely check it out for my local area.  Thank you for sharing something that will be very helpful.  Best wishes always.

Great information.  More and more buyers are looking for properties that have services or amenities they can walk to.

Lottie,  Nice.  What a out of the box marketing you are using.  Good show.

One point for those who do buy 20 Sequoia Court and walk to the Library or Carlmont Shopping Center.  They will have the best looking "gluts" in town with that walk up Dartmouth!!!

Richard, check it out -- WalkScore does quite a good job in our area--most urban areas, too. Thanks for the 'suggest!'

Pat, that's definitely what I'm seeing. Urban lifestyle--and having destinations w/out the use of a car--are increasingly popular up and down the San Francisco Peninsula.

Clfif, I'm glad you like this marketing idea. I find people visiting 20 Sequoia Ct. have no idea how close they are to destinations. As far as the 'glutes' go, Sequoia Ct. is off Bay View, near Club--not too much of a hill, and nice, wide, well-lit streets--and SIDEWALKS! (Much more conducive to walking than Dartmouth is!)

What a great idea to emphasize your listing's location by showing how great the location is with respect to localism.  Here's what you can walk to from 20 Sequoia Court.  Wonderful marketing idea.  Thanks for sharing.

Hello Doug -- I'm glad you like the idea of using WalkScore. I like to showcase listings like 20 Sequoia Court in San Carlos in a variety of ways. Sometimes potential buyers have no feel for how close they are to amenities, and this can help.
