Living in San Francisco - A November Sunday

Living in San Francisco - A November Sunday

November view from our condoThere's always an adventure to be had, something special to enjoy here in San Francisco. Today is no exception, with free time until 1:00 PM, when paperwork chores must get started.

detail, corner of SF City HallAfter a cup of French Roast coffee while surfing the web, we breakfasted on a delicious mushroom omelette, courtesy of my husband, Gene. Then we walked the 1.3 miles to City Hall.

Farmers' Market near City Hall, SFI took advantage of early voting (election day is this coming Tuesday), then enjoyed shopping at the "Heart of the City" farmers' market at International Plaza.

Refreshed and nicely exercised, it's time to whip out the work while a nice pot of bean-barley soup simmers on the stove, and vegetables roast in the oven. My kind of November Sunday in San Francisco.

Hello Dawn. It was a great way to start the day. After hiking on Mt. Tamalpais yesterday, and nice exercise this morning, I'm ready to buckle down and crank out the paperwork. No open house for me today. How's everything going for you today?

Lottie,

Yes one of the great advantages amongst many to live in The City by the Bay.  I really love what San Francisco has to offer.  Your pictures are supurb.

Hi Cliff - after 35 years living in the same house, I'm ready for a new adventure, and we're having a ball. My work on the Peninsula and Silicon Valley remains unchanged--I just have new places to walk to, and a new view from my window. Change is good!

And to think I have to get on the Capitol Corridor train and ride 90 minutes to Richmond, then take the B.A.R.T. into the city to have a Sunday like that!! But sometimes, I do. There is nothing that is as invigorating as San Francisco. You are so lucky to be in the middle of it all.

Sussie, I thought yesterday that this past weekend epitomized my very favorite kind of weekend--nice mixture of exercise, a few household/personal chores, some business work, and R&R time with my hubby. Sweet.
