What makes a home like 93 Hilltop Drive sell quickly, with multiple offers, and over asking? It's usually a combination of things:
- Proper pricing. Buyers shy away from homes they perceive as being overpriced.
- Proper physical presentation. De-clutter and de-personalize; take care of maintenance items; paint; clean thoroughly. Think of getting your house ready for a gala party--make it welcoming; make it shine!
- Attention to paperwork. No one enjoys filling out disclosures, or getting and paying for various inspection reports before a home goes on the market. But thoroughness is appreciated by buyers, and gives them confidence. Make it easy for them to want to buy your house.
- Marketing. Know the pros and cons of your particular property. Your Realtor® should market the property in a variety of ways to reach as many likely buyers as possible. Bring a sense of excitement to the house and help buyers feel what it might be like to live here. Highlight and promote what makes your property special and unique

Not much traditional inventory but what there is seems to be moving out quickly. Jobs, jobs, and more jobs in the area mean sales, sales and more sales. You go San Carlos.
Lottie... excellent reasons why the home received such a quick offer!!
Doug, we're very fortunate with our economy here on the peninsula between SF and SJ. That's why houses cost what they do.
Hi Peggy - it takes work, but the payoff makes it all worthwhile.
Wow! Great job in getting multiple offers in, in such a short period of time! Congratulations on that!
