The housing market is sizzling in San Mateo County and the Silicon Valley.

Hot!Are you a homeowner in the bay side communities of San Mateo County or the Silicon Valley ready to make a lifestyle change? Did you know in many areas we have more buyers than homes for them to buy? Many of my colleagues are experiencing the same frustration I am--we can't find a home for our ready, willing and able buyers.

Currently I'm looking for property for the following:

•    Redwood City CABuyer E – San Carlos family looking for a move-up home of 4 bedrooms, ideally with a view and ability to walk to town, although there’s some flexibility. Price: best in the $900,000-$1,100,000 range.

Way to find properties for your buyers.  I love the idea.  There certainly is low inventory all over the place.  Hopefully you will find something for these buyers.

I'm having the same problem in the Phoenix Metro Area Lottie, ready willing and able buyers and the lowest inventory in a decade. I hope you find a home for each and every buyer.

Great way to find listings for buyers!  I'll give some thought to the Los Gatos needs.  I might be able to help with that one.

Jane, interestingly, I received an email from someone who read this post. He/she told me about a house that's coming on the market this week. Nice that they responded; I'm checking out the house, you can believe.

It sure would be nice if we could have a balanced market for a while, wouldn't it Nancy? Best of luck to you and your clients in Phoenix.

Bryan, if you keep my Los Gatos needs in mind, it would be AWESOME! A single-story townhouse might work, too. Rinconada would be perfect. Let me know how I can help you!

Good morning, Laura -- I did get one email as a result of this post. I also sent out an emailer to about 100 people who get the electronic version of my newsletter; 2 people have replied. Next week it will go out to about 500 with my printed newsletter. It can't hurt, and who knows???
