The City of Good Living, San Carlos CA, lives up to its name

train station San Carlos CAA community survey was conducted this spring with the goal of understanding residents' satisfaction, priorities and concerns as they relate to living in San Carlos. Results of the survey show that the City of San Carlos is one of the top cities in the State when it comes to satisfaction with City services and programs. 

Quality of Life was one area addressed in the survey. The results:
    98% rated the Overall Quality of Life in San Carlos as Excellent or Good
    89% were Satisfied with City Services
    92% felt Safe in their Neighborhood After Dark
    99% felt Safe in Commercial & Retail Areas During the Day
    89% felt Safe in Commercial & Retail Areas After Dark

library, San Carlos CADr. McLarney, from True North Research which conducted the survey, noted that "Despite the tough economy and its impact on the City's budget in recent years, resident satisfaction in San Carlos is high.  This includes the Quality of Life, the City's Overall Performance and Delivery of Specific Services, Performance of the City Staff and Communication with Residents.  When a City has results like this, it is wise to stay the course and to do what it takes to maintain the quality of services the City currently provides."

Lottie - Those are some impressive percentages--it's all about quality of life and San Carlos shines in that department.

Lottie -- a city that is concerned with its residents' feelings on the quality of life there is very important.  Good to see those in San Carlos are very satisfied --- I like the personal way you tie in your role as a Realtor who serves that community.
