Neither Rain, Nor Snow.....

......can deter people from an Open House at 1566 Nuthatch Lane, Sunnyvale, CA 94087

Today we had the first rain we've seen since APRIL! It started in the morning, mainly drizzles, and then set in for earnest just about the time I was putting out my Open House signs at 1566 Nuthatch Lane in Sunnyvale, CA.

Around 3:15 a very heavy downpour occurred, and for rain-starved Californians, I must say I enjoyed it.

Even with the rain, and on a Saturday, we had about 23 groups through the house. One agent has since downloaded disclosures.

I can hardly wait for tomorrow's open house - stop by if you can -

Wow, 23 groups at an Open House...that's amazing. I don't think I've ever seen that and in the rain too!

Good morning, Lottie....in my opinion, the perfect weather condition for an open house is overcast....no rain... but no sun... visiting an open house is the ideal event for that day.

Hi Larry and Sheila - in our suburban towns in Silicon Valley, we get high numbers through open houses. Today is sunny and gorgeous here--we'll see what today brings.

Good morning, Barbara - 2 weeks ago we were in the midst of a heat spell; 1566 Nuthatch is air conditioned, rare for our area, and that was a GREAT selling point! People came to the open house and lingered...

Lottie - Rain won't stop buyers from going to a good open house.  I hope you have a great turn out today with the sunshine!

Lottie - I looks like you had a successful open house even with the rain.  I was glad to see the rain, it cleared out a lot of the smoke we have here in the valley from all the wild fires.

Hi Laura and Jim - yes, we had about 23 groups through; similar number of Sunday when it was gorgeous and sunny. Buyers are still looking for homes.
