Live in San Francisco or the Peninsula? Have you tried Munchery?

For those of you in the San Francisco Bay Area - that's San Francisco and much of San Mateo, Marin, and Alameda counties - and part of Santa Clara County (down through Sunnyvale) -- THIS IS FOR YOU!

Munchery order

If you haven't yet discovered Munchery.com, I highly recommend them. This service provides delicious, healthy, chef prepared meals delivered to your door Monday through Friday. The cost is reasonable (most entrees run $11-$12 dollars; side dishes $4-$5), the service superb, and the servings are ample. My husband and I often order 1 entree and 1 or 2 sides and have left-overs for a small lunch for me the next day!

(Tip: If they offer the Lentil, chickpea and feta salad when you order, add it -- superb!!)

We have lots of wonderful restaurants in San Francisco and surrounding towns, but some nights eating a fine dinner at home is just the ticket. Kids might be in bed, maybe you know the day will be crazy busy and you won't want to cook, maybe you want to dine while watching an old movie -- those are the days Munchery is the best.

Munchery.com is starting to get quite a following and often by Noon many items are sold out. Plan accordingly, and if you'd like FREE delivery on your first order, use this link.

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

Lottie

I love it. What a great idea, and pretty affordable - better than many restaurants. The lentil, chickpea and feta salad sounds terrific. Bet there are plenty of folks in the area who will be pleased to read this. And Munchery will love your PR!

Good morning Lottie. Nice job promoting and sharing about these restaurants. Hopefully they will thank you for the promotion. Anything I do something like this I will let the restaurant know that I wrote about them.

Lottie, I will let my son know about this. I think he eats out most of the time or has food delivered. I think he would like this. Thanks for plugging a local small business owner.

Lottie - Their salads look so good, and are a welcome change to your traditional tossed green salad. Great suggestion - The Munchery!

Lottie, for food in San Francisco, this looks very reasonable and healthy!    Would definitely have it on my list for my next trip!

Joan - instead of succumbing to room service, Munchery could be a less expensive, tastier option.

Hi Jennifer - Munchery has a unique niche, but other areas are bound to follow suit by and by.
