Lottie, we all dream of retirement some day, and this event should be filled!

Hi Joan Cox - John teaches a lot of good stuff. We took a similar class from him about 5 years ago and have since turned over management of much of our portfolio to him.

Lottie, I am sure this will be well attended. Consumers in your area will appreciate this post.

Hi Gita - I hope many San Franciscans and Peninsula folks see and attend this seminar. If they are like my husband and myself, they'll learn plenty of tips they could put into practice.

Hi Lottie: I would like to retire at a certain age Lottie. But I decide to just seize the moment. Having said that, I still make sure that we live comfortably.

Hi Maria Gilda Racelis - I have no interest in retiring--at least not any time soon--but it's nice to know where we stand financially should we wish to choose that option - I like having options!

These programs should be very popular. A high percentage of seniors are not prepared for retirement.

Oh boy, do many folks need this course. You must have a plan - many Amercians fly by the seat of their pants - that is NOT the way to prepare for retirement. ;)

Roy, it's frightening how few people are prepared for retirement years.

Debb Janes - I'm one who needs to have a plan--it changes and we massage it, but the basic plan is in place - and John D. Lee helps guide us along the course.

Lou Ludwig - I'm in agreement. These classes are usually well-attended, and for good reason.

Terrie, having a trusted advisor is worthwhile--or downright necessary.

Lottie, sounds like you're doing what you should at this point. You're right,  we need to massage it at times - we lost a lot of our "retirement funds" during the real estate bust of  2006-2008.

A lot of us did, Debb Janes , which is why diversification is so crucial. As a Realtor® it won't come as a surprise to you that a good portion of our porfolio is in real estate

Lottie - Great information for anyone who doesn't have a retirement plan, or is just interested in making sure they are still doing the right things and strategy with their current plan!
