Hometown Days, San Carlos CA 94070

Yes, it's that time of year again, when the City of San Carlos celebrates with Hometown Days...Where Everyone Plays!

Celebrating its 35th year, Hometown Days begins today, Friday May 15, 2015 and continues throughout the weekend.

Kick off for the weekend begins at 5:00 PM Friday evening at Burton Park, with the San Carlos Education Foundation Kids' Concert. Bring a picnic, or sample the food trucks - either way, its bound to be fun

Saturday highlights begin with the Hometown Days parade through downtown San Carlos, going right past my office, while Sunday starts with a Fun Run, a pancake breakfast and a pet parade.

Today Sotheby's International Realty, 94070

Music, performances, food, games and fun continue throughout both days.

Bocce ball courts, Burton Park, Can Carlos

Take a look at the full schedule of events, then come on down to enjoy some good times with good people. You won't find empty streets and parks here this weekend!

--- Come for a visit; Stay for a lifetime!

That sounds like a great event for the enjoyment of your community, Lottie.  We got a tremendous amount of rain yesterday afternoon, and into the night.  It looks like Southern California is still getting it.  I hope it doesn't affect your event!

Lottie I don't know of any town around here that has a hometown days event, but I like the idea and which my town had one.

Good morning, George Souto - maybe you should start a Hometown Days in your town! It's a real community builder.

Hi Lou Ludwig - it's a lot of fun - the town parade starts shortly - Girl Scout troops, pre-schools with tots in wagons, soccer teams, Cub Scouts, school groups -- lots of fun.
