"Lottie, Thanks for the update! The real estate market is still crazy. I am glad we bought [street name] the time we did (even thought it sounded crazy at that time).
This neighborhood is great! We are loving it here. :)

"Dear [buyer],
I'm always glad to hear buyers are loving where they bought--it's such an intimidating process with prices so high. Victory to the bold of heart!
Lottie"
This early morning email exchange was delightful and started my weekend off on just the right note.
Keeping my buyers in the know about the real estate market in their area is something I make sure to do. They want to know, and want to hear from me. And I want to be certain their house still works well for them, that they are still happy there, that if they need names of any service people, I'm here to help.

(large home or small, home is where the heart is!)

Lottie- what an excellent way to let your clients know that you are still there for them. I'd bet you get a lot of referrals.
Our service should not stop once the deal is closed. Good for you for letting your clients know that.
Lottie notes and e-mails like that are special and start off the day on the right foot.
I love hearing how happy they are also. Makes me feel like I really helped them.
Lottie what a wonderful way to start any day! Congrats on helping your buyers find the perfect home and neighborhood. I love our profession - we get to be part of such a huge event!
Great picture, Lottie. I put my clients on a quarterly Market Snapshot Report through my Top Producer and they love seeing what's happening in their neighborhoods. And I love getting notes from them telling me how much they like seeing the reports and how happy they are in their homes. That's what makes all the sturm and drang of this profession so satisfying!
Lottie Kendall - It's heart warming to get an email like the one you received this morning. It's so nice to know that buyers, while worried about the buying process at the time, are now very glad they made the move and purchased when they did. A great real estate agent like yourself makes the home buying process possible! Congrats!
Lottie - it is great to get a letter like that. You do a great job helping your clients make the right choice. Not easy in such a hot market.
Lottie, very nice, sincere letter and keeping it touch will always bring more business through referrals.
Love this! It is our job to remind them we are in business. It is not their job to remember!
That is a great way to show happiness Lottie. Happiness through what we do best.
Lottie - It's no wonder you have loyal clients when you are constantly providing them with market updates, and letting them know you are there to help them with whatever housing needs they may have.
Lottie, it's clear to me you are a true professional!!!
Lottie, it does make you feel warm and fuzzy when a buyer calls after closing and gushes about their new home. Great job!
Hi Kathy Streib - referrals are the basis of my business--I love them!
Jane Peters - staying in touch with past clients is a pleasure for me.
George Souto - notes like that a great way to start any day
Really smart of you to keep in touch with past buyers about the state of the market and their home's value as time goes on.
Hi Karen Fiddler, Broker/Owner - in our high-price area, it takes faith to be a buyer, but I haven't had a buyer yet who regretted making that first, scary purchase.
Anna Banana Kruchten - you're absolutely right; it's an honor (and a responsibility) helping buyers and sellers
Hello, Nina Hollander - I know you do an excellent job of staying in touch with your past clients; you have the referral business to show that.
Laura Allen, Lake Tahoe - Truckee Real Estate for Sale www.TahoeLauraLuxuryHomes.com - I know you do the same for your clients.
Grant Schneider - our market takes courage and diligence, on the part of agents as well as buyers
Good morning, Ellen Caruso - referrals from happy clients are the absolute best!
Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland - I learned that lesson years ago, before I even had my license. It's up to us!
Noah Seidenberg - yes, notes like these are treasures!
Troy Erickson - I miss my clients once their purchase or sale is completed. It's not hard to stay in touch afterward.
Good morning, Patricia Feager, MBA, GRI, Cert Negotiations Expert, Military Relo Prof - thank you for your kind words. I'm honored, especially coming from you!
Joan Cox - this client bought their home more than 2 years ago; I'm delighted it is working out so well for them.
Hi Chris Ann Cleland - staying in touch is a pleasure, and much more valuable than constantly trying to drum up new business.
That was very nice of your Clients to let you know how much they appreciate you!
You're right, Evelyn Johnston - this note came after I updated them on prices in the neighborhood where their rental property is located. I worked with them on their purchase of their curent home about 3 years ago .
Hi, Lottie...I do the same thing and my clients love it. It's also easy to do with my market reports. I just send them the link to the post. I hope you have a great week ahead.
How was the hike? I sure enjoyed the game.
Very wise Lottie. Staying connected goes a long way, the comments by the clients is very obvious that your past work will be shared with others.
Lottie
Your customers appreciated your efforts in helping them to buy a home.
Good luck and success.

I just heard from a client yesterday who moved out of the area after I sold her home. She has another for me to sell, a rental. She commented on how much she appreciates the fact I am still the same old agent, always quickly responding to her needs. But for the most part, I don't often hear from clients after they sell and move away from Sacramento.
